Radio Pop
The project was born from the broadcast signal I saw on television as a child. The brightly colored acrylic stripes were completely destroyed and altered with strensil and spray paint, using the freeflow technique and throwing paint onto the canvas until I achieved a clear interpretation of a distorted television. It also symbolises the signals we transmit in this world —the energy of things, if you will, that makes us unique as human beings. I only hope this project cannot be replicated by artificial intelligence, as all the mixed signals creates discourse in our everyday.
